The Jer’s Vision Motivational Address
The Motivational Address is an assembly style presentation educates about
the effects of bullying though a presentation by Jeremy Dias, (City of Ottawa
Citizen of the Year; Ontario Youth Medal winner; and Teen Choice Award nominee).
Jeremy talks about his experiences of facing racism and homophobia in a rural
Ontario school, and how he overcame discrimination by setting legal case precedents
and eventually starting a not-for-profit organization. This award winning
is a great way to start the conversation about diversity in your school and
community, and to promote respect, stopping bullying, and creating positive
community culture.

The GRIS Presentation: Demystifying and humanizing sexual diversity
This award winning presentation explores gay and lesbian issues (LGBTQ), through
trained facilitator who share their personal experiences. The program seeks
to break down stereotypes and myths surrounding the queer community. The presentation
lasts one period, and engages participants in understanding the consequences
of their actions and how to stop bullying.

The Human Experience of the Holocaust diversity
This 6 part presentation explores discrimination though the Holocaust, and
teaches how simple actions (good and bad) can have long lasting effects. The
workshops are delivered by youth who have studied the Holocaust with Survivors
in Germany and Poland. The workshop explores the historical context, the human
effects, current international conflicts, what can be done now and how this
practically applies to each participant. Participants walk away, not only
with enhanced knowledge on the Holocaust, but also with a greater understand
of the importance of diversity and why we should stop discrimination and bullying.

For grades 7-12; Length 6 workshops of 45-75 minutes; Best delivered with
15-25 persons
Self Defence: Just Yell Fire
Based on the award winning Just Yell Fire program, this workshop teaches participants
about how to avoid and get away from dangerous situation. The program explores
what type of situations participants my face, how to prepare for such situations,
responsibility and how to defend themselves. The workshop is delivered by
martial arts experts and is instrumental at demonstrating how violence is
never a solution to a challenge.
