Visionary Award
Formerly the CYDI Award, the Visionary Award recognizes politicians who have worked to address discrimination and promote diversity through an exemplary action or their political careers.
Ideal winners of this award will be politicians who have worked to eliminate discrimination within their community through innovative legislation, programs and initiatives. Note that politicians are defined as either past or present elected officials, working in municipal, provincial or federal politics.
Nominations should include a letter detailing the work or works of the nominee, as well as additional references. Nominations are due annually on June 15th.
